Dr Poh Yih Jia is a Consultant in the Department of Rheumatology and Immunology, Singapore General Hospital (SGH). She graduated from the University of Otago, New Zealand. She completed her specialist training in Rheumatology in New Zealand and was subsequently conferred fellowship to the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 2012. Dr Poh joined SGH in 2013. 

    Dr Poh was awarded the Health Manpower Development Plan Fellowship to further subspecialise in the management of pregnancy and flares in patients with autoimmune diseases at the Louise Coote Lupus Unit, Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital She spearheaded the setting up of a new service, the Rheumatology Obstetrics Clinic (ROC) which is a one-stop integrated combined rheumatology and obstetrics clinic to provide specialised care to pregnant women with autoimmune diseases. 

    Dr Poh is also actively involved in education for undergraduate and postgraduates. She is Core Faculty for the Senior Residency Programme in Rheumatology, Clinical Lecturer at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine and Adjunct Instructor at the Duke-NUS Medical School.
