Professor Peter Nash is Professor in the Department of Medicine at Griffith University, Queens-land, and Director of the Rheumatology Research Unit on the Sunshine Coast. Prof Nash has Chaired the Professional Affairs Committee, the Therapeutics Committee , the NHMRC musculoskeletal panels as well as serving on the Scientific Advisory Committee and ASMPOC of the Australian Rheumatology Association.

    He is a former member of the Therapeutics Committee of the Australia and New Zealand Bone and Mineral Society. He remains on the International Steering Committee for GRAPPA. He is on the editorial board of Annals of the Rheumatic Diseases and RMD Open.Prof. Nash and his group at the Rheumatology Research Unit have been involved in the pivotal registration clinical trials for all modern targeted biologic therapies and os-teoporosis therapies. He has published more than 200 peer-reviewed papers and 5 book chapters, and was recently recognised as Australian rheumatology leader for citations in the top 20 rheumatology journals over the last 5 years. Special interests include metabolic bone disease and novel therapeutics.
